Nursery Grant RFP

Responding to a gap in services for parents with infants and toddlers who reside in shelters in Baltimore County, BCCH seeks to provide seed money to start a program that would allow parents and their infants and toddlers to bond and experience positive growth and development.

At this time, BCCH is announcing a request for proposals to provide a therapeutic nursery program to infants and toddlers (from birth to 3 years old) and services to parents to assist in developing healthy parent/child relationships. The proposal may cover up to twenty-four (24) months, but must cover at least a twelve (12) month time period starting July 1, 2010. Interested parties are welcome to submit a proposal for up to $52,000 for this period.

"What's BCCH?"

BCCH is an all-volunteer organization that seeks to serve the community through activism and stewardship by preventing and solving the root causes of homelessness.

Our education group provides timely, accurate information relating to homelessness in Baltimore County, Our advocacy group speaks for people whose voices are not heard, and our Direct Service group organizes opportunities for support for area service providers ancommitments to the community.

Our goal is to communicate these opportunities, and find willing volunteers who care about these issues as much as we do.  We are always seeking to find new ways to help, volunteer opportunities and partnerships with those in the service sector, local government, area businesses, and the media.
